Privacy & Data Protection Notice

Who we are. N Praveen & Associates, Chartered Accountants (D.No 67-1-14, Patamata, Benz Circle, Vijayawada 520010) is the Data Fiduciary for personal data you share with us through this website, email, phone or in person. General enquiries: info@npraveen.in.

What we collect. Identity and contact details (name, organisation, email, phone), the content of your enquiry or application, any links you choose to include, and technical data needed to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising trackers.

Why, and on what basis. To respond to your enquiry, evaluate an application, deliver professional services under an engagement letter, meet our obligations under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, the Income-tax Act, 2025, the Companies Act, 2013 and other law, and to keep our systems secure. We collect personal data only with your consent or where the law permits, and only for the purpose stated at the time.

Retention. Enquiries and applications are retained for 12 months, then erased unless an engagement follows. Engagement records are retained for the period professional and tax law requires, then securely destroyed.

Sharing. We do not sell personal data. It is shared only with processors who help us operate — website hosting (Vercel), secure email, Web3Forms (which relays website form submissions to our mailbox) and hCaptcha (which checks that a form was submitted by a person) — under their published terms, with regulators where the law requires, and with third parties you instruct us to work with.

Security. This website is served over HTTPS, so anything you type is encrypted in transit. The site is static and holds no database: it is hosted on Vercel, whose global network serves the pages from the location nearest you, so page requests may be handled outside India. We rely on section 16 of the Act, which permits transfer other than to a country the Central Government has restricted. No personal data is stored on the website itself. Form submissions are relayed to our mailbox by Web3Forms (after an hCaptcha check) and are not stored on the website. Engagement files are kept in access-controlled systems available only to CA Praveen and staff working on your matter, under confidentiality obligations and the ICAI Code of Ethics.

Your rights. You may ask what personal data we hold, request correction or erasure, withdraw consent, and nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf. We respond within the timelines set by the Act.

Grievance officer. Write to privacy@npraveen.in. If you are not satisfied with our response you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Terms of Engagement

No advice without an engagement. Content on this website is general information, not professional advice, and does not create a client relationship. Services begin only when both parties sign an engagement letter defining scope, fees, timelines and responsibilities.

Professional standards. All work is performed under the Standards on Auditing, Standards on Quality Control and the Code of Ethics issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and in accordance with ICAI guidelines on websites, which prohibit solicitation.

Fees. Fixed-fee for defined scopes, annual retainers for managed services and time-based billing only where scope cannot be predicted, as set out in each engagement letter. Proposals are issued in writing within three working days of a diagnostic call.

Financial planning. FIRE and personal-wealth services comprise financial planning and tax advice. We do not sell investment products; where product-level recommendations are required they are routed through a SEBI-registered investment adviser.

Liability and disputes. Liability is limited as stated in the engagement letter and by applicable law. These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Vijayawada have jurisdiction.

Cookie Policy

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and our own pages store nothing in your browser at all. The exception is the anti-spam check used on the contact and careers forms: hCaptcha loads inside its own frames served from hcaptcha.com, and anything it stores is held under its own domain and its own terms, not ours.

Third-party requests. Typography, scripts and images are all served from our own hosting. Every page loads one third-party script from Web3Forms, which powers the newsletter and enquiry forms; on the contact and careers pages it also loads the hCaptcha anti-spam check. Your enquiry itself is sent to Web3Forms only when you press submit. Where the Google Places integration is enabled, our Google Business rating and reviews are fetched from Google. These providers may receive your IP address as part of serving those files; none of them receive your enquiry or application data.

Photography. Images on this website are licensed from Unsplash under the Unsplash License and served from our own hosting; no image request reaches a third party.

Forms. Information you type into the secure message, application or newsletter forms is transmitted only when you press submit. It is relayed to our mailbox by Web3Forms (a form-delivery service) and then handled under the Privacy & Data Protection Notice above.
